Suchetana Chattopadhyay is the Professor of History and coordinator of the Centre for Marxian studies at Jadavpur University. Her area of research is in the history of communism and city. Her publications include An Early Communist: Muzaffar Ahmad in Calcutta 1913-1929 (2011).
