নিকোলাস গ্যিয়েন (১৯০২-১৯৮৯) : ক্যুবার বিশ্বনন্দিত কবিদের অন্যতম। আফ্রো-ইউরোপীয় বংশোদ্ভূত গিয়্যেন সাংবাদিক, সক্রিয় রাজনৈতিক কর্মী এবং ক্যুবার জাতীয় লেখক ইউনিয়নের নেতা হিসেবেও সমাদৃত। লেনিন পুরস্কারসহ নানা জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পুরস্কারে ভূষিত।

Nicolas Guillen (1902-1989) One of the most globally recognized Cuban poets. As an Afro-European mixed race poet Guillen also revered as a journalist, political activist and the leader of Cuban Writers’ Union. He received numerous domestic and international honours including the Lenin Prize.
