ইস্ক্রা রহমান পেশায় শিক্ষক ও অনুবাদক। বর্তমানে শিক্ষকতা করছেন বরেন্দ্র বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। স্বরব্যাঞ্জো নামক একটি গানের দলের সঙ্গেও তিনি যুক্ত।
