Alok Bandyopadhyay is a poet and a translator. He writes in both Bangla and English languages. He has participated in many international seminars, festivals and panel discussion on poetry held in various countries. He has translated Serbian poet Roman Kissiov, Santhali poet Parimal Hembrom. His publications include Pratidwandi Satjan (1984); Sabujer Sangsar (2020).
