শহীদুল জহির (১৯৫৩-২০০৮) বাংলাদেশের প্রয়াত ঔপন্যাসিক, গল্পকার। অঙ্গুলিমেয় রচনায় তিনি বাংলা সাহিত্যে তাঁর আসন স্থায়ী করে গেছেন। মাত্র তিনটি গল্পগ্রন্থ ও চারটি উপন্যাসের রচয়িতা জহির পেশাগত জীবনে বাংলাদেশ সরকারের একজন ঊধ্বর্তন আমলা ছিলেন। তাঁর প্রকাশিত একাধিক গ্রন্থের মধ্যে রয়েছে উপন্যাস মুখের দিকে দেখি (২০০৬); গল্পগ্রন্থ ডলু নদীর হাওয়া ও অন্যান্য গল্প (২০০৪)।

Shahidul Zahir (1953-2008), a renowned novelist and a short story writer of Bangladesh. He died prematurely at the prime of his creative life. With just four novels and three collections of short stories Zahir has left an indelible signature of artistry in Bangla literature. He was a senior bureaucrat of the Government. His publications include Dolu Nodir Hawa O Onyanya Gapla (2004); novel Mukher Dike Dekhi (2006).
