ভি. রামস্বামী কলকাতাবাসী। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে সুবিমল মিশ্র’র রচনার অনুবাদ কাজে নিয়োজিত। ২০১৬-তে লিটারেচার অ্যাক্রস ফ্রন্টিয়ার্স ফেলোশিপ পেয়েছিলেন। তাঁর প্রকাশিত অনুবাদ গ্রন্থের মধ্যে রয়েছে দ্য গোল্ডেন গান্ধী স্ট্যাচু ফ্রম অ্যামেরিকা (২০১০); ওয়াইল্ড অ্যানিমলস্ প্রোহিবিটেড (২০১৫)।

V. Ramaswamy lives in Kolkata. He has been engaged in translating works of Subimal Misra for a long time. He was a recipient of the Literature Across Frontiers fellowship in 2016. His publications include The Golden Gandhi Statue from America ( 2010) ; Wild Animals Prohibited (2015).
