জয়ন্তকুমার মুখোপাধ্যায় সঙ্গীত বিষয়ক লেখালেখি ছাড়াও অনুবাদ ও ওরিগামির ব্যাপারে আগ্রহী। তিনি বাংলা জর্নাল-এর সম্পাদনা সহযোগী। ভারতীয় সঙ্গীতকোষ-এর দ্বিতীয় সংস্করণ (১৯৮৪) তাঁর সম্পাদনায় হয়েছে। সম্প্রতি তাঁর সংযোজিত সুরে রবীন্দ্রনাথের ২৫টি সুরহীন গানের একটি স্বরলিপির বই প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।

Jayanta Kumar Mukherjee writes on music. He’s also interested in translating literary works and origami. He’s the Editorial assistant of the Bangla Journal. He edited the second edition of The Encyclopedia of Indian Music. Recently he has published a book of musical notation of hitherto 25 un-tuned songs of Rabindranath Tagore.
